2. Ferraro provides an overview of expatriate culture stock, both upon entering a new and different culture AND the often difficult adjustment for managers when they return (reverse culture
shock). Explain this phenomenon. explain the four stages of culture shock and the impact upon repatriation.
3. Choose another topic from the Ferraro book to serve as one of the four (4) responses to the questions you are submitting for this exam. This topic, and the mini-essay you will write, should
be more than just a summary of the chapter. I want also to read your thoughts about the importance, or significance, of the topic for young managers.
4. Define and explain the value of utilizing inter-market segmentation. For example, when would this approach be most appropriate? Of what value would this technique be over traditional market
segmentation approachs, such as segmentation by sovereign state borders? Give me an example of how inter-market segmentation might be the proper/best approach for efficient market penetration.
